Vlog Script: "Are We Using Social Media the Right Way?''

 ΗΕLLOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Hey guys! 👋

So, first of all sorry I haven’t been posting for a while. My grandpa had a serious surgery, and honestly, I just didn’t have the time or energy to film or write anything. But now I’m back, and I wanted to talk about something that’s been on my mind lately…

Social media. Yep TikTok, Insta, Pinterest, Snapchat… all that stuff.

Let’s be real: we spend a LOT of time scrolling, right? Sometimes we don’t even notice how much time passes. One minute you’re watching a funny video, and the next… it’s two hours later 😅.

But here’s the thing:
Have we ever asked ourselves what are we actually getting out of this?

📲 Using social media in a better way

Don’t get me wrong social media can be awesome.
You can learn stuff, get inspired, laugh, connect with people…
But only if you use it in a way that helps you not drains you.

So maybe:

  • Follow pages that inspire you, not just random memes (unless they’re really funny 😆)

  • Set a time limit your brain needs breaks

  • And most importantly, don’t compare yourself to others. What you see online isn’t always real.

👶 When should you start using social media?

Now let’s talk about age. A lot of people ask me
“When is the right time to start using each app?”

Here’s my honest opinion (and what the rules say too):

  • Instagram – You can join at 13, but honestly, it’s better when you’re like 14 or 15 and know what you’re doing with privacy and stuff.

  • TikTok – Also 13+, but maybe wait a bit if you’re not ready to see… well, everything 😬

  • Snapchat – Because things disappear, I’d say 15+ so you don’t get into drama.

  • WhatsApp – Pretty safe. Good around 13–14, especially for keeping in touch with friends or family.

  • Pinterest – This one’s chill. Super creative and relaxing. Great even if you’re like 12.

  • BeReal – Fun, but can feel like pressure to post every day. I’d say 14–15 is a good age to try it.

🎯 Final thoughts

So yeah, social media is a big part of our lives. And that’s fine.
But we don’t have to let it control us.

We can choose what we follow.
We can choose when to log off.
And we can use it to feel better not worse.

Thanks for watching, and if you liked this, give it a like, share, or comment your thoughts.
And hey maybe try putting your phone down for a bit today 😉📵

See you in the next one! 💬✨ ALSO u can send messages on my instagram acc xarag_10!

Fake Friends: The Ones Who Smile But Sting💔

If you ever want to share a thought, ask for advice, or just talk, you can message me anytiime on my Snapchat my username is The Teen Bloom .   Today, we 're talking about fake friends. The one's who smile at you but talk behimd your back, who disappear when you need them, and who make you question your worth. Let's get into it.   👀 What fake friends look like: ·          They are only around when they need something ·          They make you feel left out, even when you are included. ·          They turn others against you silently. ·          They compete with you instead of clapping for you. ·          They call you “too sensitiv...

MAKEUP FOR TEEN GIRLS WHEN & HOW TO START

Starting makeup as a teen can be exciting — but it’s also important to keep it simple, safe, and age-appropriate. 💄 When to Start? There’s no "right" age, but most girls begin experimenting around 13–14 with basics like tinted lip balm or clear mascara. Start small — you don’t need a full face! 🧴 Skincare First Healthy skin = better makeup! Clean your face daily, moisturize, and always use SPF. This helps prevent breakouts and keeps your skin glowing. ✨ Keep It Natural Less is more! A light BB cream, a touch of blush, clear or brown mascara, and a tinted lip balm are perfect for school or casual days. ✅ Safety Tips Always remove makeup before bed. Clean brushes regularly. Don’t share eye or lip products. Patch test new items to avoid reactions. 💬 Final Thought Makeup is fun, not a mask. You’re beautiful with or without it — use it to express, not to hide.
